Course Description
The Red Dot Pistol Class is an advanced training course designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively and efficiently utilize a red dot sight mounted on a pistol. This course is intended for experienced shooters looking to enhance their marksmanship abilities and adapt to the latest advancements in firearm technology.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of using a red dot sight on a pistol, including sight picture acquisition, proper zeroing procedures, sight alignment, and sight management techniques. The course will also cover the advantages of using a red dot sight over traditional iron sights, such as increased speed and accuracy in target acquisition.
Prerequistes
- Participants must have basic understanding of pistol handling and marksmanship
- Participants must demonstrate safe gun handling skills and proficiency
- Must legally be allowed to possess and use a firearm
Students should be able to be prepared to provide their own firearm, ammunition, and necessary safety equipment required by the range.
